  • As a child I always wanted to free the animals. Zoo smelled bad and animals never looked happy.

  • Zoo is nothing in comparison with circus. Circus is the place where I was only once, in my early childhood. I can't stand it!

  • That's why I say it's REALLY SELFISH: Only by the whim of seeing a wild animal, we condemn these animals to life imprisonment. It's really unfair, selfish, sad and cruel.

Should Sea Creatures Ever Be Kept in Captivity?
Please take a look at this picture, and let me know your opinion.

  • No.

It doesn't matter if they are "just fish": wild animals should NEVER be kept in captivity because that's not their life. We steal their lives.

The Zoo are animals' prisons: we put them in a cage for public exhibition and commercial purposes and we don't care about what is better for that animal. It's a business and we just care about that. It's really sad how we break an animal's soul just because our endless selfishness and our ignorance.

If there is not supply, there is not demand. Simple as that! So we can stop the captivity of wild animals not demanding these services.

I just hope this will change for once, one day, and we can learn to respect every living creature on Earth.

  • Good question! My two cents:

It's double-edged to keep the creatures in an aquarium. People can enjoy those creatures while feeding them - some of them may not be able to find enough food or too vulnerable to survive in the wild. Indeed, people are trying to protect them.

On the other hand, the creatures should be in the sea -  people shouldn't interfere with their natural life. Let them be where they belong to.
