racism&slavery

Hi All,

I have just finished a movie which name is ''12 years slavery''. It made me think about racism and slavery from a different way, and feel sad due to what dark-skinned people's lived in the past.  It is sad that people had been exposed to appear different than the others who has white skin. Who wants such of thing in life?

Actually I have never thought and known that they lived such of excruciating tortures. I suggest to all of you to watch this film in order to gain a different point of view about racism and slavery.

So, what do you think about racism and slavery?

I wonder, why only white people were free to have a dark skinned people to use them as their slaves? Was the only thing money that divide these people from each other?

I guess you have heard something about Nelson Mandela too. In my opinion, he was the freedom warior for people who has dark skin. He struggled to avoid the racism and devote himself for this purpose in all his lifetime.

Be peacefully...

  • Racism and slavery against humanity.

It is against Islam too.  There is no difference between men because of their color and cast, but because of their piety.

It was in USA and other European country that they traded slaves, and treat them inhumably.  Then with the passage of time and awareness it started to diminish, but it has not yet finished in totality.

    • Slavery was normal in that time and europen country were trading with slaves beacause they had power to do that. USA was established by europen people and for them slavery was also something natural. Every culture in the world had slavery in their past and europen country weren`t something special about that issues. Normally I do not charge slavery but I wanna say that europen country only used their position of power in that time for such inhumanity action. If some other culture (e.g. islam, some asian culture etc.) could did same they probably do it in the same way. That is the nature of humanity.

    • At least the people's minds have changed about this big problem in the past years. Yes, there may still some Afrikans in this World who are axposed to bad treats, but I hope they will won their own freedom and they will be able to live whereever they want.

    • I totally agree with you..!
