marriage celebrations....

hi friends....

few days ago it was my causins marriage....first of all lets pray for them to have a really good life together....ameeeeeeeen.....

in our culture after a boy and a girl get familiar to each other they make a celebration for their marriage....

in that celebration an religion expert asks the bride :am i allowed to make u ....'s wife????

the people around tell in the first and second time:the bride has gone for bringing flowers...or she is reading the holy QURAN....or sth else....

the third time she tells :YES....i allow....

but the poor groom ....

the expert just asks him once and he should tell yes at that time....hihi....

then they r husband and wife...

in farsi we tell it *AGHD*

they will have some other celebration named *aroosy*in farsy and after that they will live with each other....

in *aghd* they give ring to each other and put honey in each other's mouth....

then how is it in ur culture..????

how a boy and a girl go to marry ...???

  • Hello! Raha, in my country and to us Filipino, well, I'm not sure how is this "prenup" became so famous nowadays, it's a photo shoot before the wedding day, and they are creating some videos accompanying with a love song.

At the wedding proper, the usual, bride with her expensive gown and groom is dashing as ever. I can say that most of those weddings weren't cheap and a very time-consuming. After some ceremonies, then the guy will unveil the headdress, and kiss his bride.

charan! They are now pronounced husband and wife.

I have no religion and let's tell about it.
Here,on wedding day,the groom will prepare some food like presents for the bride's house. He will arrange 4-6 people to carry the presents. When getting to the bride's house gate, they transfer the presents to 4-6 people arranged by bride.
When they go into the house, the head of groom's side, often the most prestigous member of the family, ask the head of the bride's side to allow their children to be husband and wife. After both agree, they will pray at the alter to inform their ancestor about their children's marriage. Then, they pour some wines into small cup,the groom will invite his parent-in-law & the bride invite her parent-in-law. From that time, 2 families become a big one. Often then the relatives will give groom & bride some presents or money to prepare for marriage life. The presents the groom bring will be shared 2 halves. The bride keep a half & a half will be given back to the groom. It means 2 families will share with each other from now on.
It's a most simple wedding celebration of poor people. And it's my wedding celebration experience. Some richer families have longer and more complicated celebration. But however it's celebrated, the m

AGHD? Sounds like when someone is choking. Or like when Jimmy Fallon says "Eww"
