In fact, almost none of the questions asked on social media measure intelligence. Everyone should know this. Because some people who fail to answer these questions think they have a "low IQ". But this is not the case. This question is fully explained in the Kahneman's "Thinking, Fast and Slow" book. What makes us immediately say that the bat costs $1 and the ball costs $.10 is our "System 1".
