  • Humanistic is an adjective of humanist. Humanist according to the dictionary I looked at, is pertained to a philosophy which discusses human's dignity through reasoning. However, humanitarian is a person who helps other people to improve their life. Therefore, it is a person not an idea or a school of idea. For example, mother Theresa was a humanitarian. The noun and adjective form of humanitarian is the same so be careful when you see it or use it in a sentence!
