Hello everybody,
I need your help, I'm training as a receptionist and one of the thing I have to do is to answer to possible or certain customers. The mails are almost the same, the point is I don't know the right formulas for a letter that as to be formal but not too much... I give you an example and I hope you can correct it. I also need this to be in british english for I'm leaving to England in a few and hope to do the same job there. Though it would be great also to know which are the american formuls for that; in fact it would be perfect to diversify the answer after the nationality of the customers.
"Dear Mr/Mrs./Miss/Ms. Xxxxx,
I received your e-mail of July the 24th 2011 and I'm glad to tell you we have free rooms in that period meeting your requirements. The price is of 80 (eighty) euro per night breakfast included. The hotel, being in the centre of Turin, is at 10 min. walk from the principal railway station, 30 min. by car from the airport and 20 min. of slow walk from the very heart of the city.
An e-mail, both in case you will come and need to book or decide not to, would be very appreciate.
I'm ready to answer to any forward question of your. Best regards
Vivian"
