  • make a short video (2 minutes long + or - 5 seconds)
  • in your room/house only (not outside)
  • add audio such as commentary or dialogue (in English!)
  • upload or embed it at:
  • add catchy title (in English) - up to 7 words
  • add description (in English) - up to 21 words
  • add location (not your home address!!)
  • add tag: homeshort
  • Save and Publish

  •  How will you choose the best videos? what criteria?

    • Originality, creativity, use of English, technical execution even will all be part of the mix but none to the exclusion of the others. For example, if someone took the trouble to add subtitles or a transcript, that would be considered a plus.

  • What should the video about?

    • It's up to you as long as it's:

      • in your home (not outside)
      • in English
      • 2 minutes long

      Example topics could be:

      • a tour of my room/house
      • what I/we do every day while staying at home
      • working from home
      • how we exercise
      • how we study online
  • An ingenious way from an ingenious leader of My English Club, to attract the attention of the members to show their different skills. I guess it deserves to be a distinguished article of the month or it might extend to the rest of the year especially with this lockdown. Mr. Josef, keep that momentum up.
