a mascot should be linked closely linked to the aim of the club and his message which it was established, as well as vision .
an owl suggested above sounds better
OWL. I think owl is popular as the wisest animal. So we can talk wisely when we are here. Just like an owl. We support other and advice other through the word that we type. We change the group through our words. Thank you. :)
A bird famous as wise being and it is in my opinion an Owl. The icon of wisdom and people may like it or not most of our wisdom is related to English today.
Actually, u've replied it, Tara...Colorful parrot is the best one, I think.

Tara should hold the mascot contest before take a decision to determine what the mascot of EC should be.
