Eating Disorders

A food disorder sometimes referred to as an eating disorder can be defined as an abnormal eating behavior or tendency. Abnormal eating means either taking low quantities of food or too much of it, that is, insufficient or excessive food intake. In other words, this implies that excessive and insufficient food intakes can be detrimental to an individual’s physical and mental health. This paper gives a critical analysis of different stances of three journals. It is achieved by giving an evaluation

Shawal's six days

After Ramadan, comes the month of Shawal. We fast six days during this month. It is Sunnah and not obligatory. According to Hadeeth, (who he fasts Ramadan and follows that with six days in Shawal, it is as if he fasts forever.)

This is built on one good deed equals that ten times the same. so the idea is like this. Ramadan is thirty days. if you multiply all that by ten, it equals three hundred days. the six days of Shawal are consequently sixty days. That makes a total of three hundred and sixt

If you are pursuing an engineering degree, you might think that solving assignments provided by the university is the only way to solidify your concepts. You might even wonder, “Who can write my assignment for me?” and take help of your peers to write the answers. But, that does not guarantee that you have a strong grasp of the subject matter.

Dear EC members, Rys' article "Petroleum-free World" gave me the idea to post something.

The following story, I found on the internet and think it is worth publishing it here.
It is a post in German language and I translated it.

Just have a look:

The cashier at the cash register of a supermarket instructs an old woman, who takes a plastic bag for her shopping, that she should bring her shopping bag with her next shopping because plastic bags are bad for the environment.

"You're right," the old lady

Three Brain Teasers

Dear members of MyEC.

I have three brain teasers to solve.
Are you able to find the answers?

1) How can 666 be increased by half without changing it by an arithmetic operation?

2) How does a ferryman bring a goat, a wolf, and one head of cabbage across the river if he is only allowed to load one of the three on the ferry? He has to make sure that the goat doesn't eat the cabbage, and the wolf doesn't eat the goat!

3) A rich Arab leaves 17 camels to his 3 sons. In his will it is written that the el

Petroleum-free World

Here is the text I got this morning in my e-mail box from my cousin in Canada:

One crisp winter morning in Sweden, a cute little girl named Greta woke up to a perfect world, one where there were no petroleum products ruining the earth. She tossed aside her cotton sheet and wool blanket and stepped out onto a dirt floor.

“What’s this?” she asked.

“Pulverized willow bark,” replied her fairy godmother.

“What happened to the carpet?” she asked.

“The carpet was nylon, which is made from butadiene and hydr

Today, nursing is among the most vital professions in any society. Nurses are charged with important roles of care coordination with the primary goal of improving consumers’ healthcare quality and outcomes across diverse patient populations. Professional Development

Urgent care centers are my first priority, health information centers are my second priority and medical devices/equipment companies are my third priority according to my interests as a future health care manager. Urgent care centers provide assistance that saves human life and working there is extremely eventful and dynamic. Hospice care is the most challenging organizational setting for employees. To work there means to possess a huge patience and emotional stability. In addition, it is a sign

stories from the time of Corona (3)

People who come from abroad or are suspected of carrying the coronavirus are locked in buildings or hotels.  In some countries, they are put in high luxurious hotels and given the life that each one of us is dreaming of. Their meals are presented precisely according to the time. Juice and other beverages are served round the clock. The internet is free. After two weeks, the health authorities would know whether they are well or not.

I heard pope Francis saying that the lord would not leav

The life of flowers

Some time ago, I was planning to move these flowers that had been in a corner of the yard for a long time.

We had to move them to another part of the yard. I was confronted with this scene when I moved the flowers in front of the others!!!

The life and behavior of flowers is really interesting. I cut that iron with an iron saw. Of course, I tried my best not to damage the flower.

They grew a lot after moving. The height of the Rosageranium which is in the picture below, is now about 170 cm:

I just finished reading a book called Confessions of an English Opium-Eater by Thomas de Quincey. It's an autobiographic essay written by the author in 1821 where he narrates how he became addicted to opium.

This is one of the first books addresing addictions and it became an inspiration to other authors who wrote about human torments, such as Baudelaire and Poe. My personal believe is that the cynical and even "upbeat" tone of the author during his recollection takes away the real suffering that
