Writing Challenge: My Story Behind the Picture

Killed Angel

He always considered himself a tough, devoted punker, who did his best to suppress own emotions, not to look weak nor hurt. His ego was something he was proud of and his antisocial attitude made him cold and sort of far away from the reality. The only positive thing about him was his humorous and cool side and that's why some weirdos of the same blood group liked him.
However, things around us are and always were unpredictable, so even people like him deserve to be happy. One day in the morning at the bus station it happened. He saw her and realized he had known nothing about life so far. He was enchanted by her. He has never seen such shining eyes full of energy calling for the excitement. Her smile was mixture of two in one - dangerous challenging chick and innocent cute girl. She looked like a beautiful angel with long brown hair, blue eyes whereas he looked like a monster with piercing, punk hairstyle and that one weird ring in his ear. Oposite attract and that's why she gave him smile and made him feel blushing and embarrassed. What a cruel moment for the punker... What a funny moment for the angel! In a few minutes they started conversation and on the same day in the evening both enjoyed their first date. They felt nice with each other and later on started feeling something they have never felt before. Love. At night they were thinking of each other and couldn't fall asleep, then in the morning they were dying to meet each other and spend the whole day together. Day by day, month by month. They moved together and felt happy to share one apartment. It was almost like a fairytale but life isn't fairytale, right?

One winter morning he woke up and realized everything was getting on his nerves, especially her presence. Her each nice word was giving him headache, her gestures, behaviour...it all made him furious! Suddenly he saw her differently. He felt overdosed on her love, she gave him too much love, he wasn't able to absorb. The more love she was giving him, the weaker and smaller she turned to be in his eyes. Suddenly he saw her not like an angel anymore but like some annoying butterfly who was slowly turning to the moth. Her desperate calling for help was unheard, her all attempts to make him see her like he did before were useless. Her love was killing him and his egoistic black side took control over him. Once in the evening she gave it last try. She approached him, told him how much she loves him and kissed him gently on lips.. This was the last drop. His head almost exploded as he turned to the heartless beast and started yelling at her: "Get lost!!! Leave me finally alone!!! I don't want to see you anymore!"

Like he wished, she did.. within a few seconds she totally disappeared, she wasn't flying there in front of his face anymore, she was gone. She wanted to be once more again the angel for somebody, who will appreciate her existence and will see love giving angel in her forever...

thanx for your encouraging words and your short explanation of my love story :-D I am always happy to see your comments and checking words in the dictionary :-D

  • ooops, there's a mistake"...don't expect your brain to be safe from taking out". It should be "...from being taken out"

  • Luci, as I told you, I gave up the idea of writing stories to those pictures but I'm enjoing reading them. Believe me or not, but before reading your story, I wrote captions to all those pictures, though didn't post them. And for this one was... guess what? " Even if you, a tough guy, are married to the prittiest little fairy, don't expect your brain to be safe from taking out":=D

  • What a beautiful piece of writing!, i enjoyed reading this a lot Luci :D . u described the picture perfectly as it was a true story that happened in the past.wow! the punk didn't appreicate what he had. what a loss for him.

  • you saw all of that in the image.. Oh Gosh.. This is what we can call it "creativity"

I also want to express my admiration in some phrases like "The more love she was giving him, the weaker and smaller she turned to be in his eyes."

    thumb up, Luci :)
