Writing Challenge: Compound Nouns

 In this challenge  we expand our knowledge on compounds  by creating our own blog with reference to it and also interestingly joining other members link and giving our own examples of their  compound nouns .

Lets  give it a try and not forgetting  sharing our links  through the link created  by Tara.

  •  1  aircraft - I want to buy a aircraft. 

     2  background - Please check his family background before sending his appointment letter.

     3  chopstick - You should use chopstick to eat rice when you are in China.

     4  deadline -  Your deadline will be finish on 30th August & you should finish your report before that.

     5  eyelid - My girl don't like to paint he eyelid.

     6  fingerprint - Every morning you should put your fingerprint before start work.

     7  gatecrasher - Security identified the gatecrasher who entered to our building by cameras.


     8  spotlight - Fix this spotlight to the stage before start our meeting.

     9  pickpocket - The pickpocket skill allows you to steal items off of a person.

     10  highway - Southern highway is the first highway in Sri Lanka.
