Writing Challenge: Advice from A CELL PHONE:

ADVICE FROM A CELL PHONE.

1)  DON’T LET YOUR SCHOOL GOING KIDS TO USE CELL PHONE:

If there is any doubt in your mind  “Should School Going Children are allowed to use me (Cell Phone)?” My straight response to this is NO! Why? To prove my contention, I draw your attention towards that we are talking about “School Going Children” So the prime duty of the School Going Children is to get education. Students should pay their full attention towards the main aim of going school. There is no need for a school student to keep cell phone.

 2)  ESSENTIAL USE OF ME:

Let’s think what essential use is there for a school boy or a girl to have a cell phone. Some may say that parents may be anxious to keep in touch with their kids. But this thought has no strong base because in the first place no school management allows their students to use cell phone. It is even not allowed in colleges to use cell phone in the class room just to avoid the disturbance.

 3)  MISS USE OF ME:

If school going students are allowed to use cell phone they will naturally waste most of their time in talking to friends, and what they talk it is of course not of a very important nature but just aimless chatting.

 4)  WASTAGE OF PRECIOUS TIME IN PLAYING GAMES ON ME:

There are different video games installed in me. If they (kids and adult both) are not talking they will play the video games, resulting wasting of time and money as well as their curriculum will also affect badly in case of school going children, because the time which should be utilized in preparing for their exams will be wasted in talking aimlessly.

 5)  DON’T BECOME ADDICT OF ME:

Everyone/everything like having attention and to be close to its user, the same way I feel pleased when I find myself always in the hand of a boy or a girl, man or a woman rather there should be the hand of their lover.  But I am being ‘ALIVE’ having ‘SENSES’ I feel it my moral duty to advise you that ‘don’t become addict of me’ there may arise some health hazards, and if you are not ready to give any heed to my advice, DON’T PUT THE BLAME UPON ME of any possible health hazard…………..wish you all good luck.

  • Nice blog, Cellphone!

Unfortunately, most children insist on having you,.....they even threaten their parents to buy you for them or they don't study their lessons.

  • Thanks CC and Yousef for your comments.

  • Such a controversial topic and you have described about all of the advantages and disadvantages.
    very interesting!
  • Hello my old friend
I actually agree with you, but that the issue of the cell phone has become torrential and became a kind of luxury or brag, and could not keep up with the new generation as if you outside world, knowing that we can not exploit the cellular phone more than 5%, and this is strong evidence for that we as consumers do not benefit or take advantage of more than 95% and the rest is just a luxury or loss of time.
Imagine, my friend, you have a calculator, but do not know the basic guideline principles for the operations of the account.
In any case, the current generation may reach the stage of early literacy.

  • Mr. Cell Phone,

it is the easiest thing parents can do, to give the kids cell phone instead of playing with them! M against it and I can´t imagine that when I was a kid my parents would buy for me something so expensive and would even give it to me to use it at school - where is kinda chance that it might be stolen!
Anyway, let me use your own sentence against you - I guess in the third world this advice is also something unreal since they don´t have money to buy it :-p

    Yours Mrs. Garbage :-D

  • Yes, we should not spend much more time with you, dear cell phones, good advice!

  • Thanks Expector for being of same frequency.

  • Great advice, cell phone!

    @Mishaikh

You could replace every "cell phone" with "me" to personify it, then it may sound like it's the cell phone that is giving advice, not you.

  • If you go out in a cafe you will see many times that people don't talk but they have their cell phones in their hands. This happens because of facebook etc. People are addicted to these. As for if studens have to use it i agree with you.

  • Thanks Anah and Mustafa!
