Since it is month of October - month of Breast Cancer Awareness. I would like to share with all of you the Top Ten Lessons I've learned with this Book.

1. Be active with health

First, Nordie's Noon is an inspirational book written by four women courageously struggled breast cancer (Jana Peters, Patti Balwanz, Kim Carlos and Jennifer Johnson). The word "too young for cancer"strikes my attention to keep on reading it till end. As a woman, I must be aware

of what's happening inside and outside of my body.

2. Educate ones' self  and  be concern well

Having knowledge about breast cancer is vital. According to what I had read, this disease is inherited or it can happen to every woman, even at young age or those pregnant. It clears my mind that it doesnt exist at age of 40 and up. Ladies, we must perform monthly BSE (Breast Self - Examination). Early detection is better than the cure.

3. Hold on and Have hope

Suffering to such disease is very difficult and hard to admit. However, we should believe in the works of God's hand. There is sunshine after the rain. Be ready to fight and hope in the face of the storm to endure.

4. Be normal and have will to live

Whatever obstacles or disease we are encountering, stand up still. Make time for your self. We must convince our selves that life must go on. The world won't stop rotating.

5. You will always have a choice

Find what would be the the best treatment, consult oncologist, ask questions about medication and it effects. Don't hesitate to do second opinion. And discuss it with your love ones. Choose the best choices to survive.

6. Smile though your heart is aching

Give your self a good laugh or smile.  So what if you're wearing wig and breast prosthesis? Think that you're still alive and not dying.

Accept that obstacles are a part of life and be happy anyway.

7. Think positive

As I read the book, there are possibilities of having recurrence that cancer returns after treatment. Never give up and think ways to resolve it with the help of your oncologist. Try to find the positive to help get you through.

8. Always cherish relationship

Relationship with family, friends or others that are close to us is a gift that has no cost.

Their unconditional love and support is an asset that doesn't depreciates. They are always at every step of the way.

9. Give it up to God

We owe our lives to God. In any condition, God is always with us. He is only a prayer away. Don't forget to say THANK YOU GOD, each day... happy or sad. We are never alone and there are angels to see us through.

10. Make each day, the best day of your life

We must treasure every second, minute, hour of our lives. Remember trials are one way of God's test to measure our FAITH in him. Live life to the fullest. Enjoy the many blessings of life.

Thank you to Nordie's girls for such an inspiration.

God Bless Us all!
