Writing Challenge #27: My Advice

Advice for a student  in his\her study life

  •  Education is the best provision for the journey to old age .So, try your best to benefit from your study years. Because those years will never be repeated again  and in vain you may wish one day  to go back in time.
  • Don't think that studying is a hard task. On the contrary, it's so interesting. Set your goals and then follow the most interested path which leads you to them.
  • Don't focus on the materials that you take in the school. Try to vitiate your sources to broaden your mind as well. I wish I had taken benefit from the internet as a wide source of information.
  • Try to achieve your goals and don't delay them until after graduation. I do agree that studying may take you a little bit away from your hobbies and interests. So, you have to arrange your time in order to enjoy practicing your hobbies. I wish I had considered my hobbies and spent more time enjoying them.
  • Let your study goes in parallel with your daily life issues. For example, if you want to join any club , participate in any association or travel anywhere , do it immediately. Don't think that practicing any sort of exercise will hinder you from succeeding in you study.
  • Studying is a way of improving yourself and your nation as well.

  • Expand your relationship with your teachers. Don't let it strict and stick to the materials being taught. Your teachers are older than you and have an insight , so it will be better if you ask for their advice concerning your studying and your future life as well.

  • Hi, Sara

I'm so glad to see you again. Yah, it has been long time since we met for the 1st &the  last time.

I do really agree with you that we didn't have the ability to schedule our times, but now and after realizing the importance of arranging time, we have to guide others to the technique of arranging time.

Thanks Sara for joining me in my 1st blog.

    You are most welcome, Tara

I'm certain that education is one of the elements which contribute to the improvement of any country.

(Sorry there is a spelling mistake and what I mean is we have to try to vary our sources to broaden our horizon as well)

Thank you Nida for your comment

When we were students, we thought that studying was a hard task. But after enjoying the bless of it, we realize how much useful it is. As I have said 'Education is the best provision for the journey to old age'

  • Nice blog Angel!

You've shared some very useful tips with us. I like all the tips, however; tip#2 is the best. When I was student I used to thought like that. But now I regret that. ^_^

You write really well Angel, so please keep writing...........

I'm looking forwards to read more blogs from you very soon...........

  • Great tips! I really like the one about improving your country. This is so true! Thanks so much for taking the challenge.

    What do you mean here?

"Try to vitiate your sources to broaden your mind as well."

  • Dear Anele,

I have specified a separate comment only to thank you for your charming and encouraging words.
When I read your comment for the 1st time, I didn't catch the relation between what have you sayed and my advice...!!! But after giving myself a couple of minutes to reconsider your words, I realized the amazing meaning behind them.

I have to admit that those tips are the extract of my study years. I realized some of them while I were studying while the others were recognized lately after graduation. But nothing goes in vain, that I'm sure I'll get benefit from them for the rest of my life.

    Thanks a lot sweet Anele.

  • Thank you Night for the valuable comment.

Yes, you are right. We shouldn't get rid off ALL the barriers between us and our teachers to the extent that we don't respect them. They may become friendly, but we have to respect them as our teachers who are older than us and more experienced as well.

  • Thank you Walid for commenting and being the 1st one who participate in my 1st blog as well.

Thank you Nadira,Valentine and Ramona . I do really appreciate your interest in sharing me your thinking towards my advice.
  • Hey Angel, Nice blog, The last point was really useful so does the other ones, but if you become the friend of your teacher, then you will get rid of all the barriers between you and him/her, but respect should be applied.

    Thanks for your Advice.

    Night

  • Well done! Thanks for your useful and valuable advice.
