Writing Chalenge : Life Hacks

Ah.. I guess everybody are very happy with this topic, and so curious to know how to make our life easier.. Even I know this life hacks, but have yet to do it... Not 100% guaranteed.

1. Heat a corn wrapped in a plastic in the microwave
Put a corn inside a plastic, and heat it in a microwave, just in a couple of minutes you will get a very delicious steamed corn, you have to put it inside a plastic to keep it fresh, unless it will dry. I'm not sure about the safety.

2. Not to promote, but buy smartphones, espc apple products
Siri is my new love, she helps me to power nap, just tell her, "wake me up in 15 minutes". And there are many things in your life, you can do easier with smartphones. What's more interesting, you can do another hacks with your smartphones. Double hacks!

3. Roll a lemon/orange on the table before you juice it
Some says, it will be easier for you to juice it

4. Make sure you keep your dog eats dog food
If your dog eats another food beside dog foods, its poop will be so gross, and it'll be quite bothersome to clean it. Dog foods will make its poop solid, small, dry, and 'beautiful' compares to those who don't. Btw, in my country, some people give their dog rice to eat, can you imagine how are those dog poop look like, unbelievable.

5. Do more than on things at the same time
Especially when you wake up late for work, to make it quick, wash your hair while you "po**" and also brush your teeth at the same time, in 2 minutes, you did all the job, you can also do the grooming. That will save you extra time to read newspaper in a more convenient way. Lol, this is a story from my friend.

Okay, enough with the poo, my life hacks are so dull, btw, this is about writing chalenge guys!

  • Anh Trung, REALLYYY???

I usually heat it only 3-4 minutes, and you should heat one cob of corn, not just the corn.//

    1. Sono : yeah, underline that sentence, low budget! Try no 5, and make a blog about it! Who will do it faster, you or noas?
    2. Anele : Yeah, maybe, chewing bubble gum?
    3. Seeker : Thanks!
    4. Nizhor : Really, I've never tried that though.
    5. Tara: Yes, I'll make it someday! hehe... Yes, Tara, I couldn't find what it is called in dictionary. I mean, I didn't want to make a pop corn. Maybe this is the better sentence

"Heat a cob of corn, wrapped in a plastic in the microwave..." I mean, a whole corn. You will find that the raw corn instantly cooked. You don't need to stem it.

Do you know, that Siri could prevent you from suicide, tell her that you want to die.

  • Ha! Your life hacks aren't dull at all. This was such a funny collection of tips! My stepson taught me that lemon/lime life hack a few years ago, and I use it every time. Thanks for sharing it with everyone here.

    Re: Siri

I would love to see a whole post on how to use Siri. Do you have some good tips? My daughter loves to ask Siri silly questions.

Correction: Corn (Can you guess why these sentences below need to be corrected? Hint: Would you count each "kernel"?)

    1. Heat a corn wrapped in a plastic in the microwave
Put a corn inside a plastic...

  • Life Hack#3 is really helpful for me.

  • Your no. 5 is simply multitasking.  But some people don't know the proper way of multitasking.  For them, cooking while singing is already a multitask.  Chatting while listening to the music is another wrong conception of multitasking.

How about eating while taking a bath......hahaha.  I don't know what kind of multitasking are they.

  • Well, interesting blog :).  Life hacks are low budget tips and tricks to make life just a little bit simpler and a whole lot easier. But Stephen, your given hacks are tricky. Specialty 5th one heck. lol

  • Mickey, that's amazing! I didn't know that a cockroach could stand in such a hot temperature, wkwk... that's gross!

Mishaikh, yes, but I don't mean to make a pop corn, but a piece of corn (what do we call it?). What I thought not safe is the substances from the plastic will contaminate the food. Some say that.

    Lol, yeah noas, try it!

  • As for a microwave, I thought of a thing. The other day, one of my colleagues told me, after she took out her chicken soup from her microwave she found there was a cockroach inside! Guess what, in such high temperature, it was still alive!!!

    Nice hacks, lol.

  • Heating a corn like you said is not save, because it is done in a prescribed manner for a prescribed time.  Corns are available in sealed pack with all the direction how to pop them in microwave.  Without the knowledge it is not save.

Once I put a boiled egg just to warm it a bit, you know what happened, there was a muffeled explosion inside the oven and when I opened it, there was no egg just tiny partcles all over the place.

Let me remind all who use microwave for making tea or heating milk or any liquid.  After taking out the thing you heated, if it is liquid never take it close to your lips or face, stere it first to let the excess out, then use it.
