  • Grace, your picture has reminded me a nice Russian fairy-tale "The Frog Tsarevna". Prince Ivan and his two older brothers shot arrows in different directions to find brides for themselves. The other brothers' arrows landed in the houses of the daughters of an aristocratic and a wealthy merchant. Ivan's arrow landed in a swamp and the frog took it. Later she turned into a princess.

    So Prince Ivan found his arrow in the swamp. He saw a frog with his arrow in its mouth. He said to the frog:
    "Frog, give me back my arrow."
    But the frog replied:
    "Then take me for your wife." ( the caption)
