Not more than fifty years ago when it was so common to see around populated areas in savanna region in Africa giraffe, ostrich , and hyena. But now it is rarely to see any of these animals even in uninhabited areas where wild life is not disturbed . Actually that is due to many factors but the main factor is man . A good example of destruction of environment by illegal hunting or deforestation is the Blue Nile province - it is a vast area - in Sudan North extends between the White Nile and Blue Nile and bordered on the south by the South Sudan and on the east by Eritrea. This area once was rich with wild animals such as elephant . lion , and various kinds of gazelles and many varieties of antelope. Now you find such species only in restricted areas or parks. Many people destroy their environment intentionally or unintentionally .
