Hi Everybody,

I would like to tell you about my hometown which is called Eskişehir. I grew up there until eighteen year-old. Also my parents live there since they were born with my two sisters. There are about a million people live there and lots of people work at factory. There are lots of factories which are different sectors. Also there's a big industrial zone there. If you want to visit my hometown then you can travel by high-speed train or bus. Unfortunately there is no civil airport there. There are two big universities in city center there. One of them is called Anadolu university, which is very important university in Turkey.

About thirty thousand students study at different departments. So, you can see lots of young people in city center. One river is called Porsuk divides city center into two parts and there are lots of cafes and youth centers around it. Especially lots of young people sit around it and they drink something and play guitar in summers. Even if, you can get on gondola or boat to see different places. Otherwise If you want to learn something about city culture then you can go to the oldest place which is called Odunpazarı. There are lots of touris places such as kurşunlu mosque, sepiolite museum, handicrafts market, waterfall park and lots of old homes etc. These homes rebuild according to Ottoman architecture. If you go to waterfall park, you can see everywhere from there.
If you want to see anymore you should go there and stay a fews days there.
If you find any mistake in my composition, please write it below.

  • Turkey is one of the beautiful countries. I visited Istanbul and it has a lot of historical places, mosques and islands which all are great. Thanks for introducing your city.

  • Hi Thunder,

It is interesting to know that. I hope I can go to Turkey someday and meet my friend. :) Nice description!

To read your title, honestly it is a bit odd. Can you reedit it? Or If I may suggest this title, "What You Can See When You Come to My Country" or "Things That You Can See When You Come to My Country".

Just a little of my concern...

** Even if, you can get on gondola or boat to see different places.
** Otherwise Moreover, if you want to learn something about city culture, then you can go to the oldest place which is called Odunpazar.
** . . . waterfall park, and lots of old houses, etc. These houses rebuild according to Ottoman architecture.

If it refers to the building, we say "house". If it refers to any place we live in, we say "home". You can see this in detail.

The main difference between them is that house{/i] is concrete.
  • Hi Everybody,

Thanks a lot for your comments. Peppo also thanks your advice, I notice after that. :)

  • Hello Thunder, I tried to analyze your blog and find some mistakes, not actual mistake by the way, I just find you used similar words over and over like “there” and “which”. I suggest you to simplify your sentence, here is my example taken from your first paragraph.

I grew up there until eighteen year-old. Also my parents live there since they were born with my two sisters.

->I was growing up there with my two sister until eighteen years old while my parents have lived there since they were born.

There are about a million people live there and lots of people work at factory

->About a million people live there and most of them work at factory.

There are lots of factories which are different sectors. Also there's a big industrial zone there.

->There is a big industrial zone with a lot of factories of different sectors

There are two big universities in city center there, one of them is called Anadolu university, which is very important university in Turkey.

    Anyway, Nice blog, Like it!
