These days, I find walking and accompany with mother more enjoyable ...we could talk about everything ...past and future...sometimes we remember some not good memories and speaking about them help us to solve them and digest them forever in our mind ...love is also my favor, it helped me to discover myself to explore my soul and now I know being single but happy is very important than being in love with a person that can't love you enough ...

Talking , playing , eating meals or walking with a family member as you have done with your mother , are ways to strengthen our bonds together and make us closer .
That's what love is about . It is feeling the security and support of our dear ones .

Experience and mellowness care for our inner peace. Judging things with new eyes, we see that former big problems, suddenly are just tiny. Time does change our point of view and evaluation.
My experience is the same as yours. Nowadays, I enjoy much more the accompany of my mom. Maybe because we talk and discuss at the same level. My mom must no longer educate me and she accepts and respects me as the equal grown, I am now.
Speaking about that you mentioned in your post about love.
It's a testament to your human and mental maturity when you write, being single is always better than living with someone who does not give you the love you expect and deserve.
