  • Oh yeah, I agree with you Karenina absolutely reading helps alot, perhaps books that you're interested in or movies that is fun to watch... so
And reading is the most common vocabulary problems that I'm facing to.

    Thanks for compliments
  • Thank you so much for your helpful comments folks. I think learning vocabularies need different methodes like other parts of speech in English language, but personally for me I would say if somebody repeats it I can get it soon, or maybe being in a contest in classroom like vocabulary. So far I have found reading as an effective way also to improve my vocabulary site. I agree with three of you Xkalibur, Nida, and Deuce666.
  • To me reading a book is a good method to enrich vocabulary. There are always new words, and from a context you see how these words are used. It is better to learn new words from books than from a dictionary only. Besides, you receive information and reading skills as well.
  • Well, in my opinion, the best way to build the vocabulary is reading and reading and reading! Read interesting books, newspapers etc. Also movies are a very good way to learn new words.
  • I learn words every day, now it's my habit, I just remember them while reading.
Before I used to learn words intentionally (100 a day) and sometimes when I'm bored I can just sit and learn new words, I just open my dictionary and learn them at random :))
Nothing special about my method. I learn mostly by reading, that's it.
