I just wanted to say that you don't have to go to the university to study hard, you can work hard at home too, self-learning is the best thing for self-development :)
As for me I go to the university only to ask my teachers to check my asignments and tell me about my mistakes, I do all my work at home, and of course I miss my friends too, I love them very much indeed :)
Have fun studying, don't forget that it's not just a hard work but a very interesting process, enjoy it :)
