                              The scarf
This story talks about an old poet who has a boy, but this boy was living in another village. This boy was the only male in the family, all of his sisters were married. After their mother's death his father, the poet, got married with an old woman. After a month the poet's wife became pregnant. It was really something surprising for him he didn't expect that cuz she was an old woman. with the passage of time the wife gave birth. It was a beautiful boy. Now the poet has two boys, but one is living far away from him and this baby boy. He loved him so much, this baby was the apple of his father's eye. when this boy became 6 years old the father decided to take him to the mosque to teach him about Islam and about their traditions. As long as Eid al Fitr , it's the day where all Muslims celebrate, is coming soon, the father decided to buy a gown and a hat for his son. His wife was happy she told her hubby that his son's hair should be cut before wearing the hat although this will make the hat in bigger size to his head, but don't worry I'll sewing it to fit his head. There is a tradition before the day of Eid al Fitr where all kids meeting together to take sweets and the colorful eggs from their neighbors. Each one of those kids was wearing a scarf except for one. This kid who didn't wear a scarf was the poet's son. There was a naughty boy among those kids he always teasing other kids whom they were wearing a scarf. The poet's son was jealous of them his dad didn't buy him a scarf and those kids were laughing at him. They tried to mock of him they clapped, danced and sang around him saying '' poor poor he doesn't have a scarf''. the poet's son was downhearted and cried a lot. He came back home angry and sad, Eid day was very bad for him. The father saw him he asked why are you crying, son? and hugged him. I don't have a scarf and all the kids laughed at me, said the son with sobbing voice. I'll buy you one dear, whispered the father in his son's ear. Fortunately at that moment the father has guests and among those guests was the owner of scarfs shop. The father asked that man for a scarf to his son. He went quickly and brought a yellow scarf for his friend's son. Although the scarf's price was so expensive at that time, but the father want his son to be happy and wanted his son to know how much he loves and cares about him and he wanted his son to do the same for him when he becomes very old man. At this moment the father said '' dearest Muhammad don't cry I'll do whatever you want my lovely son I'll give you tenderness, love and care that you need, I want you to be happy and I want you to do the same for me when I grow older. I have done all my best to make you happy by Buying a scarf to you which cost me one SR. I wish that you and your sisters will pray for me after my death.
the End.
