## The first minute of the speaking ##

I would like to talk about something happening to me always , and I don't know if anyone has same feeling .

Everytime when I going to practice talk in english I feel My breath fast and Heartbeats fast , I was like someone got bad news , just for minute then I feel better , and talk in comfortable , I can make long conversation more than one hour in relax but just in the beginning I get some stress , my health it's fine even I exercise sport weekly .
of course that never happening during the reading or listening .
I don't know if others english learners getting  like this feeling , Is that natural .

Thank you for reading

hey ,, hey wait minute ,, what you know about what I am talked about .. I am fine (LOL)
anyway ,, I think it's less than fear it's just few seconds of anxiety, however I will consider it and deal with it as a fear , I will increase of practise time , you right I should to (( Kill my fear of talking ))
    Thank You

  • Student,

it all what you have described here, I am sure, we all know what you are talking about!!! All those symptoms are just proves of being nervous of unknown. The more self-confident you will be, the better you will feel and believe me that if you practise often, in some months you will realise - OHHHH it is GONE!!! Just be yourself and don't feel ashamed or emberassed, KILL YOUR FEAR OF TALKING ;-) Good luck!

  • Thank you  MaYa for your comment , I will try to develop my  grammer , may be I have to increase practice times , I will try to get rid of it .
    Thanks

in my case it's not related to meet stranger person , as I said , I practise talk alone , I agree with you sometime we nervous or anxiety when make first conversation with stranger , but for me this is another case .

  • every person experienced that feeling of nervousness and excitement on their first interaction with someone who's not known to them. when i talked to a person from the other country for the first time, i ended up saying,"uhhhmmm", "ahhhh","no","yes", and"hhmmm". its very normal i guess, especially for those who are not used to talk to foreign people. its just that you have to practice more on oral communication and be comfortable in speaking in english, learn the grammar and sure you'll be okay.

  • Talking to a stranger for the first time is a very exciting experience for the many of us.  What you feel is just a natural reaction and I bet that the person who's going to meet you for the first time also feels the same way.

The same feeling is felt when you are not into the habit of speaking with someone or anyone.  Once you are used to it, the feeling will be overcome and everything will be okay.  You will notice that your speech can be delivered effortlessly.

But, if even after talking to a person for several days, you still experience the same fidgety feeling towards him/her......ahhhhh there must be something wrong with your heart then, hahaha!  It's now a different story to tell.

  • it is also happing with some time when i meet stranger i do not feel comfortable and i hasitate in begining after talking 5 minute i feel comfortable and then i start to speak well enough to strangers

  • Thank you "Niki" it's kind of you
I appreciate your advice and your Encouragement me .
