Saving The Earth- An Obligation or Duty?

Yesterday on 22nd April 2020, most of us would have gotten a call from conscience to save earth, to do our tid-bits to protect mother nature from the disgrace we have caused her. Many might have pledged. Earthlings are not new to this premonition. It has been such for centuries or forbid me; the beginning of human race. Moreover, we are wired thusly to have these inklings, honour our pledge for quite sometime and when all seems to be going smooth as butter: abruptly stop at the first sign of predicament. Quite fashionable way of brouhaha.

Neverthless, as the title might have given a clear notion, it’s time we ask ourselves- Are we obligated to save earth? Conversally, is it our moral duty?

Are we obligated? Yes, we are. We have been luxuriating in nature. Devouring everything from fruits to meat that this sublunary world has offered us. Finding alternatives to everything which doesn't affect the blue sphere we live in, in anyway, should be our primary concern. It's the need of hours. There are 7 billion human soul living in this planet and only handful of people are bearing the burden to save the earth. We are already at eleventh hour. Every passing day we are not working as a team, we are going closer to cataclysm.

Is it our moral duty? Yes. Is it not? Ask yourself what is it that you desire most: life, women, worldly material things. I bet every sane human will answer life. So let's come together and instead of pledging start doing service and not runaway as the trouble comes. Assuredly, it isn't a straightforward path to destiny. However, although this path is completely overwhelmed by mountains, rivers, pebbles, flesh, thorns, it will lead to light. If not, will definitely shows the right path to light.

hasta la vista!

  • Hi,obligation is relative to duty...

..Saving Earth is the duty of everyone,if we don't take care of it we will face our distruction bit by bit

humans already saw the consequences because of their greed and bad decisions, seeking after money even on the count of the environnent.

Nature is falling apart because of plenty of factories Wich poisoning rivers seas and air everyday, while there's the alternative (clean-energy),we have to hurry...

Planting a lot of trees instead cuting them.

God says in this context:" corruption has appeared on land and sea with what people hands have earned".

    Hi there

We live on earth and enjoy the beauties of it such as forests, rivers, mountains, .......

It is a duty for everyone to save mother earth not just for today but for future generations.

One important way is to protect forests. yesterday, I went outside the city to oak forests, but unfortunately I saw people were breaking the tree branches to make a fire for barbecue. I was so sad and I wish these irresponsible people would never be allowed to enter nature.

    • It saddens me to hear such malevolent thing. How could they? I view differently. Tree provides us wood to burn. Before cutting a tree one should plant 10 and take care of them. It'll be his contribution to hold the balance.

  • Kiya haal hain Manoj? Sub sei paihili, main tum ku dost manta.  Dear Manoj, after the attack of Coronavirus on us, our planet is now clean and the rate of pollution is less than before. Leave what is called the social distance aside, we are glad about it and we hope we battle this deadly virus and keep our earth clean. Thanks for sharing.
