Repaying Good Deeds

In our world helping other people is perhaps the most important thing we can do to pay things forward and expecting others to do it successively to other people the same way you did that for them in the first place. Bringing out such initiative that really could help make a positive and tangible difference in our society and our world. It is like creating a hierarchical system that tends to showcase members of a certain group that are ranked according to that degree of branching, starting from the initial leader who starts out the idea and extending vertically downward by following the linked branches that contain the initiator of the idea, the benefitors, those who need help and then down again to keep perpetuating a circular cycle. The aim of this initiative is doing a good turn to not just one person but three who then, in turn, return the help themselves to three more people and so on. However, sometimes nothing is the way it seems to be in life because it turns out that it's not that easy to change the world alone. It takes a lot of hard work and determination. There are some notorious activists who tried to make a difference in life and some of them have paid for it with their lives just to name few Martin Luther King Jr and Muhammad Ali. It certainly would go a long way to making this condemned world a better place to live in. If we count the the issues that people face during their lifetime at hand and examine them carefully we would certainly find that there are a plethora of issues that can be fixed if another person lends a helping hand to them. But is it truly unrealistic to do good deed for someone you really don't know and expecting him/her to proceed in this action? If we d keep a good expectation we would certainly bring some changes if the benefitors realize the concept of  doing a favor and expect nothing in return but helping others instead and doing it along the lines of "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours".  It's really tough to ignore so for those of you that are extending/receiving that hand.

  • ops, I quoted the wrong clause..

Excuse my hurry action.. this is the clause I want to comment on..

"However, sometimes nothing is the way it seems to be in life because it turns out that it's not that easy to change the world alone. It takes a lot of hard work and determination."

  • Allow me to comment on this clause "who tried to make a difference in life and some of them have paid for it with their lives just to name few Martin Luther King Jr and Muhammad Ali. It certainly"

Actually, I could write a long blog about only this point, because one of the very hideous things that irritates me a lot in this world is  those who believe in very supreme principles in life... but when life tests their principles, they say it's hard... or it could cause them harm back or something..

Doing good to others who you know they can never pay it back has never and will never be as easy as having fun in a wonderful day.. and here it stands the meaning of firmness and authenticity in someone's supreme principles.. it is never and will never be safe to help.. it's never and will never by amusing.. here it stands all the good spirits of doing good in life...

Thanks for writing about such a wonderful topic..

  • Nice message you spread here, Bill... I think it is about personality of the individual people, their level of empathy and the way they percieve the world itself... I personally was thinking about long distance adoption but I m not trustworthy when it comes to some organization! I wish I were at least helpful in this world to one child, who is in need and I damn will! Talking is one thing...being active the second one.. Anyway, this this all is not just about these we don't know but the most tragic thing is that sometimes we overlook the problems in our families and instead of giving hand, we pretend things are alright.. Firstly, we should look deep down into us and should somehow adjust our priorities and being helpful, useful is without doubt one of top three (at least for me)...
