Regret

Regret /rɪˈɡrɛt/

"I made a mistake, I deeply regret for", said Adam ,"Something told me not to pick up the phone while driving. Because it was my new girlfriend and I didn't want to upset her, I quickly tried to answer the phone call and I couldn't see the truck stopping in front of me and my Nissan Sunny with four of my friends crashed into the back of the truck. In that rear-end collision three of my friends died and one was seriously injured. I was saved with minor injuries. Today is the 10th anniversary of my friends' death and we all are in the church. When I look back at some of the most painful moments of my life, I see myself sitting alone feeling either immense shame or regret".

  •    Thanks for sharing  dear  . I think regretting things that have had happened in the past won't change  them at all . Regret will only destroy  our present moments  , preventing  us from enjoying our life  .

  • Dear Adaline, Sometimes that feeling of regret can lead to new mistakes and to new regrets. So it is better to live with hope, than to regret what has already happened.

Thank you for sharing this nice blog! I like those words "Don’t let your emotions make your decisions."

  • Regret is a mighty and an apologetic  word in deed ...

in this  life  style  of hustle  and  bustle  we  forget  to live  / breathe  deeply and take  things  one at a time .

another  is the intuition which  triggers  almost  correctly and  best to adhere  to it ...

Best to do ones  best  without  keeping g  room for  regrets for ones self  ...good topic Adelaine and lesson we all learn from

  • When Satan refused to obey the order of Allah to prostrate before Adam, he was cast out and ordered to leave. He (Satan) then pledged that he will leave no effort undone to destroy mankind. Ask permission to have power on it, which was granted. The Satan left heaven. Adam cried out what will happen to his offsprings. They will be doomed. Allah said, there is "repent" if they will ask my forgiveness after their mistakes (sins), I will forgive them, no matter how high the mountain of their sins would be.

So feeling regret is not bad, ask for the guidance of Allah to take to the right path.

  • Very nice topics. Nice to read it. Thanks for sharing sweet Adaline sis. I liked it.
  • My dear sweet Ada,

Exhale the Past without any Regret,
Inhale the Future without much Expectation,
    Hold the Present with Pleasure.
    And then Enjoy 2017!
    Happy New Year!

  • I don't like this word.. we should not do such thing which make us feel regret in future.. but we are human, we make mistake and learn form our mistake ... everybody make mistake but we can remove our regrets by not doing the same mistake second time..
