Random thoughts!

What makes us keep on going in life? It is the hope that after so many trials and afflictions there will be relief.

A captive person who has been in imprisonment for ages. Has been trying to get out of gloomy and robust cave. Darkness is the only thing which can be seen. Prevailed gloominess takes over everything, mind, heart ability to discern.

Everything seems to be like ashes after disaster. So distressed, dejected ,crippled, ..... Cannot help ourselves.

In this situation, key to survival   is only letting things happen the way they are. Having Patience. Again hoping for something good.

  • Life has ups and downs and never remains the same.  Enjoy every moment you live no matter what.

  • SNR :)

How lovely and touching :) keep writting :)

    • Thanks for your admiration, AG :)

  • What makes you think about the philosophy of life, SNR? Have you felt melancholic? Cheer up, my dear friend...life is just as Rysperski describes. No matter how hard of bad we feel sometimes...there is no other choice but keep on going. Sometimes, switching off the mind and stopping thoughts in the head does help )))...ah...also moving: dancing..or jogging ))

    • Dear O.M.

Thank you for your on time and most needed advice. :)

  • Oi there, folks

I would put this philosofical issue in a more mundane and down to earth way - I most decisively would word it like this: Life gives us a kick downhill and we just keep on going, no matter how; on foot, furrowing the soil with ur nose or tumbling head-over-heels mode.

    • Oiii Ryyysss!

Indeed, you have described it so well. Life isnt a bed of roses.

thanks for your valuable comment. :)

  • Hi, dear SNR.

I am happy to read a new post from you.

    Here, some thoughts from me:

It is our self-preservation instinct that drives us on and on. It is a basic instinct that all living individuals have. Our self-preservation drive gives us hope for survival even in the worst of times.
You can find this instinct everywhere in nature, not only with us humans.

If you allow, I want to go a bit further and deeper into that topic, by mentioning another aspect.

The preservation of one's own species is our task for which we live.
Unfortunately, people are often not interested in other species. We do not grant the same rights to animals and plants. We, humans, are the reason why many species are already extinct or threatened.
So everything comes more and more out of balance.
We should always be aware that only the balance guarantees our survival.

I do not think it helps to make everything better, if we let things happen, to be patient and hope for something good.

    • Hi, dear Rose!

I have just written random thoughts. You have elaborated it well. But something else has been going on in my mind.

I have been going through tough time.

Just scribbled my thoughts and emotions here.

Thanks for your words on this topic. :)
