Silence

Silence means absence of sound (any voice), but is there silence actually?  No there is always sound all around us, sometimes it is beyond our hearing power.  There is a phrase “broken heart”, we say my heart is broken. Is there anyone who can say he has heard the shattering of heart? No, but it still breaks.  There is silence for you, but I was hearing all the shattering of a broken to pieces of heart.  This is not ridiculous, ask a poet, a love-failure.  There is another phrase, “promise broken” did you hear the sound of breaking, but ask lover whose beloved didn’t fulfill the promise made, the guy suffers hears the sound of breaking, even so hard that tears comes into eyes.

Sometimes, (rather most of the time) the ‘love birds’ sit together ‘silent’.  Are you sure that there is silence?  Hear the beat of their hearts, amplify the running sound of  blood through their veins, I am sure you will close your ear.  They sit quietly, imbibed by the silence, but even then they made plan/s for their entire life just seeing into their eyes.  They talk, but for us there is silence, for them, it was chatting, touching, and………….

So why we talk about the thing “silence” which does not exist" Do you know ever the silence of the universe up there also has a sound.

Thanks for appreciating my writing.  I always find encouragement in your comment to write more and better. Thanks again.

  • Silence means silence of mind in my point of view. That is inner silence called peace. It's rare to experience it. When we sleep, we can be in silence. Otherwise it's impossible to be silent.

If silence means no sound then we can enjoy it in the mid night. But it's really scaring. If we are alone in a house, we may switch on the TV or musical system to accompany even we have no mood to listen to the music.

In holidays we can hear the sounds of children playing, no silence would be there. But when they go to school, we will have silence but would miss the sound of children.

The great silence will come to the end of life until then we would enjoy the sounds whatever it is.

  • Dara re my video. I think EC admin not yet approved it thereby it is hindered.
  • Kiya haal hain, Mishaikh? Sub sei paihili, I could not open your video. I have been facing the problem of uploading videos to My EC. It is almost now, more than one month. I hope some of the people help me how to overcome this problem. By the way, your blog reminds me of that song, The sound of silence, by Simon and Garfunkel. Fortunately, silence can be better than talking in certain circumstances. Thanks for the rose of this challenge, moderator Onee Chan and thanks for the great blogger, Mr. Mishaikh.

  • Silence is the language which translates our fears our pain ,the scars which scream loudly "i am here"!!!.... once we really need someone to hear our silence.
