need advice from the world

How to write such sorts of letters? Can anyone give advice ?Have your friends ever forgotten to invite you to the party? I think that’s happened to me. A girl from our class is having a birthday party and everyone’s going- except me! I haven’t been invited. Should I say something to her? Should I just ignore it and not invite her to my next party? Do you think I should go to the party anyway? Help! Can I use in it the expression: "I am sorry to hear that you were not invited to the party."?

  • Dear Alexandra,

Don't be sad for not being invited to your friend birthday party. Maybe your friend missed your name or maybe intentionally didn't invite you. You could try to ask indirectly by saying.."Hey, your birthday is just around the corner. Are you having a party?" if you two are close. If you are still not invited, then you know that you aren't in the list. But don't be sad....cheer up! You don't want to go to the party uninvited.

    It's just me,

  • Dear Alexandra,

If I were you, I would not say any thing because he/she did not invite me to his/her party but instead I would invite him/her to my party. This was not very big issue for me because maybe she made a mistake ,for example, maybe she invited people by email and mistakenly did not write my name. This was not important.

I think I would not do what she/he did because If I do that, I will be like him/her. But, I am not him/her. I am better than him/her. But, by not inviting him, I will not be a better person. I am like him/her.

This is what I do. I hope my message be clear.
Do not be sad! Enjoy your day! Do not ruin your day by thinking about this subject!

    All the best,
    Nafis
