My Fault

This afternoon I was writing a blog about "what did you feel when you first joined in MyeC." It was actually sent to me by Nadiya and she wanted me to leave a comment about it. So I decided to write a blog about it, and when I have written a lot of ideas I suddenly push a wrong button and then I was directed to different page and when I came back to my blog it was totally gone. This is actually the disadvantage of using laptop, you tend to push the wrong button. The thing is, I cannot remember anymore all those things I have written. so I ended up writing my ideas on "what did you feel when you first joined MyEc" in Nadiya's page. I mean, I just leave my comment in her page.

I'm sorry and it was totally my fault. Again I tend to forget things easily.

If you have any correction about this blog you're very welcome.

Thank you...

  • Thank you Nida and tara for the comments. To Maksim, thank you also for the correction. I think you are right. thanks so much.

  • I think it happens with every computer user!

  • Yeah, it often happened in brouser-based fields that are supposed to text typing;
    It makes me crazy, sometimes.
    If I want to type quite large paragraph I use "solid" editor like Notepad or Gedit;

    About your text: it seems to me that you misuse certain tenses there;
    You did one action ("I have written a lot of ideas"), in the past, before another ("I suddenly push a wrong button ");
    May be the following sentence are more corrent:
    "So I decided to write a blog about it.
    And when I had written a lot of ideas I suddenly pushed a wrong button and then I was directed to different page and when I came back to my blog it was totally gone."
    Correct me please if I make a mistake here;

  • I'm so sorry this happened to you. It has happened to me before too! There is a "save draft" function you can use. Sometimes I type my blog post out first in a plain text editor like Notepad (not MS Word).  Then I copy it over and make sure the formatting is okay. Sometimes you can use the back button and you will find your work again. Anyway, your misfortune is another person's lesson. Thanks for sharing!

    Cheers,

    Tara

  • Oh my..I always make the same mistake. Whenever I try to post something new, I suddenly click the wrong link or button, and it is gone hua..But, I do not worry because I always copy my blog to Ms Word before posting it. Anele's advice is also helpful. Just give a try.

  • To Sir Smith,

    Thank you sir for appreciating my blogs. I never thought someone like you would appreciate my writing. God bless...

  • Thanks Blesie for another advice I really appreciate it. It's really a great idea so I can have a personal copy of my blog. Thanks...

  • Thank you Ms. Anele for your advice. I will do it next time I write a blog. By the way I have read some of your blogs and it was fun to read. I learn from your blog and other member's blog as well.

    I read also your story about "sun glass" and it was funny, though it's so long and I did not finish reading all of them. Hope to read other blog of yours.

    More power...

  •  have you had Microsoft words or adobe. I usually use those first when it come to write an essay or blog because it does indeed things can be deleted in just press of a wrong button.

    Though, I'd like to share it to you so it might help when you write some essay or blog next time..

    When I know that I wrote quite a sentences I'd save it right away on the file till I get my blogs done then all I do is copy and paste it here in EC.

    Finally when eveything goes well. I either delete from my documents or save it.

    Hope that helps.

  • These things happen. Your writing is good. Keep it up.
