the birthday of the prophet MUHAMMAD peace be upon him , this is what we call in algeria Mouled

we are the muslims , we should celebrate his birthday Because he is who illuminates our path

we are the muslims , we have to apply islam on the ground , And to be the followers of our Holy Prophet peace be upon him, This happens when we inspire his tolerance, and his acceptance of others, and his kind treated with everyone.

It is called Maulid-ul Rasul over here, but anyway the purpose is still the same, to comemorade the struggle of our Prophet. We shall remind of him every single of our life for our love to him. Indeed lots of our daily life had been diviated from what he had taught us thru his saying (hadith).
