A robot is crying. I know what you are thinking about it. you are thinking that its impossible to have emotions for robots. Then you are wrong. In 2050, scientists developed such robots with emotions. we can call them female robots cause they have feelings like love, hate, affection and beauty. The robot crying now is a creation of one of the most advanced technologies of time. It is crying for a human being. someone she liked most, gone away. The robot is thinking about pain. Heart is a strange thing she couldn't understand of human beings. Heart hurts a lot!!! It's the most unique thing that no program can understand it.

I have watched number of movies some years back on the topic.
In one movie, the computerized lift of a building fall in love
with one of female employees in the building, then the lift got
jealous of the males with she used to talk, the lift started killing
those males.
In another movie there was a huge computer which fell in love and started writing poems
admiring the girl it fell in love with.
So, it is possible or not, but interesting.
It is impossible not to think that it will not happen in the future. but the world worries to be a creator not accepting it is being a creation. full of strugull. why don't it let everything as it is and live peacfuly with nature.
You are talking about 2050 but used past tense....May be I am wrong but would you please check it?
