... In the distance, he vaguely sees a girl smiling ...,

It was just a flash back of thoughts, the girl smiling was his wife twenty two years back, he recalled the memory of her, she didn’t change a bit during their long time of marriage, she stayed the same.

How come he got so blind? When did he realize that he forgot to treasure her? How could he forget what a unique woman, wife and mother she was? How could he forget what was the most important…

Writing Challenge: Continue the Story

The morning is so gloomy, and he is in a deep sleep. He wakes up when the sun shines right above the head. Finding his wife and his daughter no more around him, he recalls everything happened all of a sudden yesterday. He closes his eyes for a few minutes more. Afterwards, he gets up, throws on his only black jacket, takes the car key, and hits the road. Crazily thinking of committing suicide, on a highway, he very fast drives his car. From afar, he vaguely…

Because of insufficient time spent on writing and grammar, as well as the abundance of incorrect written English on places like internet blogs and chat rooms, there are many small written mistakes which are both frequent and simple to fix. Improving your writing allows the reader of your work to focus on your content and not get distracted by errors. No matter where your writing is being displayed or what purpose it may have (to persuade someone, to inform someone, to fulfill a writing…

How messed you have made your life up! I warned you it is a fire, it would burn you.  Love………. true love does not exist, and if exist it is hard to find. But you didn’t give a heed go my advice. Causative Verbs and Exercises

Good morning, everyone! :)

Borrowing the quote from Adaline, "Knowledge has no value unless we use and share it", I would like to discuss about grammar.

In this session, I will discuss 'Causative Verb'. From my observation, it is one of the grammatical mistakes commonly made by learners here. Please just ask OR tell me if you have any…

Mishaikh's Writing challenge: Idioms on Countries

John, Markus and Linda planned an excursion to a place located at the outskirts of the city a month ago. Finally, the day came and all of them were excited about it. But out of the blue, they came to know that their driver took French leave. After contemplating a while they came up with a solution that John and Markus would drive the car alternately. This way John could take rest while Markus is driving and vice versa.  It went on smoothly until…

Mishaikh’s Writing Challenge - Mixed idioms

A letter, written by a man to his friend:

Hi, dude!

Next time you're in my neck of the woods, just call me.
We had not gone for a pint...for donkey's years.
I hope you still like a good drop of beer.
By the way...do you still smoke? Last year, I quit smoking. I quit smoking cold turkey. You know? It was not that piece of cake but my doctor told me if I don't want to kick…

30.10.18 Got lost again.

I thought that, that since I got glasses a year and about 3 or 4 months ago. I'm now better at orientation too, but not that much. I can go little bit deeper into forest I guess, but I'm still bad at orientation. I definitely must avoid going deep to forest where's no tracks or paths, or other obvious landmarks.. in any cost. Today I again got lost in town.. unfamiliar suburban. Just wanted to walk through of that suburban area.. I guess my mistake was looking all those big houses instead of…

Sunflower Power (The First Bloom)

2347580415?profile=original

Sun… sun… sun… flower!  What’s with this plant that always brings smile to someone’s face whenever he or she sees it up close? Is it its bright color? Or is its petals? It seems exciting to grow one but I have contemplated because my garden is a bit shady. We all know it’s a ‘full sun’ kind of a plant, right?

Sunflowers also known as Helianthus,…

Mishaikh’s Writing Challenge - Food Idioms

This blog is my participating in Mishaikh's challenge about using idioms. I chose writing about food-idioms.

I'm going to spill the beans about how much I had to use my noodle to create some sentences by using food idioms. It was not a piece of cake because my sentences should not appear too cheesy.…

Random thoughts with Geography Idioms. :))

People are often on cloud nine after digging deep to find an item on online shopping. You know why? Because they found the dirt cheap one at last. You'll be surprised to know that some rich people do that as well. They said, "we are down to earth". D
