Is it good for teenagers to work?

Often, there is a discussion it's good or bad teenagers to work. some people support this, but some not.

The advantages are: young people learn communication, get experience and are far from criminal.

The main disadvantage is that they have less time to learn. if they have full time job it's worst.

In conclusion, we can't say it is strictly good or bad. In my opinion it's better teenagers have part time job and they stay sufficient time for learning.

Dear friends, it's my first blog and maybe I have lot of mistakes. Thanks for your answers in advance.

  • I agree with you too.

  • Hello Giorgi,

Well it depends on their circumstances. For the teenagers, who lack of money in their family, they usually work to help parents. IF they do with full of responsibility, they could work well and learn something precious in their life. Usually, these teenagers understand well that study is important.

    Thanks for your great topic.

  • Thank all for your comments. Our discussion is very interesting.

  • I agree with part time job. First it will teach teenagers to take some responsibility next it will enhance their self confidence and also they would learn something which might help them to decide about their future occupation. nice blog!

  • Of course it is good for teenagers to work, for the reasons you mention and because it is good to have their own money and don't ask from parents. In my opinion it is not good to work at school time but only in summer that they have totally free time. I did the same when i was teenager.

  • Hi Moon :)

    ქართველი ხარ ბიჭო?! :D

  • I do not find any obvious errors in your text.  Good work, keep it up with continued practice.

  • It is agreeable but in most of the societies these teenager become the victims of abuses by the hoodlums in white colors.  If there is restricted and under watch circumstances then it is fine.

BUT in underdeveloped countries like mine, children are compel to participate in bread earning along with their parents.

  • Gamarjoba Giorgi de madloba. It's natural for teenagers to work part time jobs, to get themselves accustomed to such future events. Some people believe that they should concentrate on their academic life and then after graduation they can do it.

  • I totally agree with you and I'll support your opinion saying that there have been huge changes in the labour world, but there's one I find most important: employers want previous experience. But if the person has never worked, HOW ARE THEY GOING TO GET THE JOB!!?? Part time jobs are a key for this, as teenagers work and study at the same time, they earn money, they get experience, and the employers pay less Social Security contributions and take less risk! Benefits are for both!
