This is a site whose aim is to help us learning English , so it is supposed that we are just for the sake of learning English and nothing more.Therefore, we are not here to make friendship , even though it can happen.So, we are not obliged to give much more attention to the people we talk to either their names, age,family members, job or any personal details especially if we dont like to talk about it.The problem is that many people dont appreciate that privacy we want to have. Surprisingly, If you tell people about your real name they dont believe you and go on thinking of you as a lair.So , what people want us to do for them to be a good human being in their eyes???????In fact, no one can be a good human being in the eyes of all the people ,it is a fact.Dont try to waste your time explaining for all the people why do you like to keep some personal details a way from them.

Nishanth:I totally agreee with you that there are excellent people here on EC that is why I still use that site till now , otherwise, I would be so easy to deactivate my account here and leave EC forever.The more time I spend here, the more good people I know.But, now, I am no longer bothering my mind with those who is misusing the site..Thanks really for commenting on my blog .

No one can deny that everyone has to right privacy but when we met new peoples we usually ask their name age and family. Normal people usually do ask these types of question but I can’t say about you what you do?):hhhh
very nice post rosa...but u know 1thing?..the nature of human is finding,caring,loving..but here,somebody misusing..some are very good..but we don't want to bothered about that.coz,we are here to learn english...

You are right Rose, I always ignore people like that. but i don't think its wrong to give online friends your real name and the country you are from. if they don't believe me i ignore them and continue talking with serious people who are interested in talking with me.

You continue as you have and only tell them what you want to. You have a right to privacy and those who won't leave you alone can just learn to live with that.
May in the Kitchen: Me too suffer a lot because want to know everything about me, and I dont like this especially when my aim is to learn not to chat.I already accept anyone who want to keep his/her life away from our conversation.Thanks a lot dear.
