I'm new here!

Hi all!

The main reason I'm here is to improve my English. I live in the small village and have no possibilities to communicate with native speakers or any people who know English pretty well. What is more this is my first experience in joining social net works like this. I  know nothing about how it works. I realize that it sounds ridiculous but it's true. That's why I'd like to improve my computer skills. And the last but not least is to friend some new people and to find out a lot of interesting information about everything - places, people, traditions.....

I'm looking forward to learning a lot of fabulous things!

Thanks!!!

  • Hi Tara!

Thank you for the warm welcome. And for your grammar tip. This is exactly what I need : somebody's help, correction and direction.

    Thanks again.

  • Hi Tetnayan,

Thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself! Welcome to the club. You may find some useful pages in this group: How To

English tip: I live in the a small village.  (Choose "a" instead of "the" because there are many small villages. More here. )

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Cheers,

    Tara

  • Nice to meet you too, jenny!
  • Hi Valentine!

Thanks a lot for your congratulations on my first blog. I'm also happy to meet you and hope to have a nice time here.

    Thanks again!

  • Dear Anele!

Thanks for your compliments! But the situation with my English isn't so nice as you've described in your post. I've got a lot of language problems, but I'm trying to do my best in order to get rid of them. I sometimes too formal in my communication, that's why I'd like to discover some more slang and informal English to enrich my vocabulary. (Maybe with your help?)

I DO HOPE to become addicted to EC. The only problem is that I'm a little bit short of time, but I'm sure that I'll find some spare minutes to communicate with my new friends.
