I am innocent too!

O love! Look at me.

How you have ruined me!!

For me, you are my beginning and so as my end!!!

Though people know but they don’t understand me, like I am famous, but unknown too.

You were not in my fate, but I do have a fate, I found wisdom, like I am failed, but even successful.

I still commit the sin……….sin to love like I am sinful, but I am innocent.too.

  • Hello, Mishaikh.

I enjoyed the innocence of unhappiness and of helplessness; could I blame myself for a sin which attracted me, which flooded me with pleasure precisely to the extent it brought me to despair?

    (Georges Bataille)

We would not recognize innocence without knowing about sin ... and vice versa.

Every reader has the righful choice to take out the gist of any prose and poetry irrespective of what the writer him/herself intends to.  Poetry is also a name to expressing an idea, or entire subject/topic in just one line or even a single word.

in the line you have referred there is the entire subject of the poem.  Let me brief you:

Lover has deprived of his beloved's (attention, love in return, or company).  So he/she feels as if punished as if he/she has committed a sin (to love). But he/she still firm to keep loving (committing sin again and again), no matter if he is being punished by not getting beloved's attention, love in return or her company).

Hope you people have understood now.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Hello Mishaikh

Nice poem! I think in this poem, the word sin doesn't have its real meaning. Am I right?

  • Adek I think that it means if love is sin and lover is sinful, I'm sinful, and I love this kind of sin. As I know in some religions and cultures love someone who is not your spouse is sin. Mishaikh please correct me if i'm wrong.

  • You may consider is a poetry, Shery.  Thanks for liking.

  • Hey Mishaikh!
