There are many ways to handle a baby when they have a cold.
Babies can't take cold medicine or decongestant but they can't have a feel simple things to make them breath more aesily. Number one is saline, baby needs nasal saline will help realieve nasal passage. parents can squeeze on the ceiling of each nostrils and use an aspirator to help relieve the muscus. Going into a steam shower several times a day will also help relieve the congestion. They also may prefer to sleep upright. The key is to help him feel as comfortable as they can until the cold passes and that may mean extra cuddle, extra pacifier, and extra feeding if it doesn't resolve itself or gets worse.
