  • Dear Wolf, thanks for your kind words. We are doing fine but Danny will be available only on weekends.

Well, your first attempt is not bad but there are some mistakes.

    1. "Look forward to" must be followed by the gerund. It is correct. But I wonder that no one paid any attention to the verb! The tense is incorrect.

    2. Look, the idea of the sentence is that a man returned home but a woman didn't notice it and his voice scared her.

    3. It is not bad but there is much better option.

    4. Correct.

    5. Correct.

    6. "Look like" must be followed by the gerund.

7-10 are correct. I hope you will try to correct your mistakes.

  • Hi, my friends! I think it is time to start explaining the sentences. I hope that you all will read my and Danny's comments here.

  • Hi, dear Roman! Unfortunately, all sentences are incorrect. I don't want to explain them now as you have been the only one participant so far. As I said, most of the mistakes in this test are similar to those in the previous Grammar Test. First of all, they relate to the tenses, the gerund and the infinitive. This spring Danny posted a few blogs explaining how to use them. And let me remind you of one easy rule: if we use DID, the main verb must be in the present tense.

Thanks for taking part and I hope you will be able to correct more mistakes after reading Dan's blogs.
