Fake smile

Can you recognize a true smile from a fake one? It is a bit challenging, I know and in fact in everyday situations we go though, we hardly have time to stop ourself and think. Life goes so freaking fast that sometimes we just watch it as if it wasn't us in the main role but a stranger who is controlled by our decissions and mood.

We let people enter our world, we let them playing with us, we literally let them win our trust without being aware of it. And then one day they give us this smile. Then one day they turn back and show us their back. Then one day we realize they aren't here because they care, they are here because they are bored and lonely. Then one day we come to the conclusion that they aren't these people we considered them to be, they are just selfish creatures, who live their life no matter if we are a part of it or not...

  • My daughter calls people like that Fake People. She is very good at recognizing them quickly. It takes me longer.

  • Luci when you go to buy your bread to corner store the shopkeeper surely smile at you, it doesn't mean she/he really feel like doing it but it's her 'duty' and you'll feel better than if you find an angry face, right?     Fake doesn't necessarily has negative connotation   : )

  • Everyone we shake hand with is not our friend. Meeting someone with a smile on face is an attitude. Hosever, natural smile comes from sincere heart. Sometimes mind is under stress. So somile looks fake. Sometimes a disheartened man tries to hide his troubles by smiling. Hence, there are many reasons behind fake smike. Never let anyone enter your heart via just a smile..

  • Oi there, folks

Indeed, life rolls past so damned freaing fast that it's hard to keep track, but nevertheless I prefer a false smile than a genuine curse. Coming to think about it, our everday behaviorism is full of fake [hmmm, "pretended" sounds better] gestures and poses, which became a part of our social  convenance to such an extent as to be part of us.

C'est la vie, as the ancient penguins would say, dear Luci, mahlovelyneighbourica!

  • sorry, I can't be fake saying I like these words so much
