Thai people all respect elephant which is a smart animal.Thai government set up a holiday ,on March 13th every year ,as the elephant day .
Mae Sa Elephant Camp is the bigest elephant school in Chaingmai.There are two kinds activites for touristes .
Half day activity:
Elephant Trecking --Washing for elephant--Elephant’s show
Whole day activity:
Half day activity+ Drifting +Tiger Kingdom
No matter which activity do you choose ,you need to book a ticket in a travel agency one day in advance .They will send a Minibus to take you there on the second day morning (about at 8 am.).

If you want to touch the lovely elephant closely,you can bring some banana or sugercane to feed them.

Feeding an elephant with some bananas were one of the most awesome experience that I've ever had. At first I was a bit afraid, but the elephant was so gentle, though it was a bit impatience to be fed. LOL
