Do you like smoking?

This is a wall which was painted in the smokers' zone of a bar, I guess it's an excelent idea for awareness , it's a fact that's a personal decision but the truth is the air is public... so I don't like be part of this wrong decision... =(

  • I don't smoke. I dislike the smell of it. But I don't hate smokers. It's their free agency. There are a lot of other things in this world that are hazardous to our health. How about pollution coming from our vehicles? Should we stop using our cars, or quit taking the bus then?  How about passing gas (farting)? Did you know that that too can be deadly especially to babies?  True, air is public.  We all have the right to clean air. If there's someone smoking around you and you don't like it...might as well leave. Or better yet, if you have to be at the same place where someone happened to be smoking, you can always politely approach the person to ask if he/she doesn't mind smoking somewhere else and give your reason (like if you have asthma or allergic to it).  Sometimes it's just a matter of showing your respect to others.  And they usually (though not all the time) will feel apologetic and return the respect you deserve for treating them right instead of embarrassing them or looking at them in a judgmental manner for smoking.  Nothing wrong with trying!

  • Yes, I agree with all of you. It's so inconvenient smoking when some people around doesn't like it. To choose do not smoking is not so easy. I will be here to see the comentaries...Thanks

  • I just hate smoking and smokers!

Do you know that a new study claims that almost 6600,000 people die annually due to passive smoking! What is their fault? Only that they live in the company of smokers!

I think smoking should be banned across the world. Not because I've any kind of sympathy with smokers , but because I don't want non-smokers to suffer for no good reason.

  • Hello Juan Carlo Luna =)

At the final... I think it's a personal decision with collective consequences...

  • I smoke a lot i am a chain smoker

  • Hi Walid =)

Thank you very much for sharing your close experience with your father, I guess you are right there are a kind very special of relationship between the cigarette and smoker... dependence and this is very different in each one some people are addict to drugs...others to destructive relationships so on.

I could see with one of my grandmothers she was smoker the most part of her life , but one day she only decided to leave the cigarette unfortunatelly her lungs had  an ireparable damage so she suffered breathing problems.

I don't like smoking, but I loved a lot to my grandmother who was smoker, I think we love our family and we want the best for them... so this is not a reproach... it's only... to draw attention and say... Hey...you have a problem ... We love you, and we want that you are fine ... Take care of yourself and care for those who are around you..

  • Hi ADNAN =)

    Me don't like too... =P

  • Hi Osama =)

  • Hi sweet Sandra =)

Thanks for your comment, it's a good question ... we have to ask to a smoker... I think... it's for pleasure another times is for recognition from others, for socializing so on...

Anyway it's a bad habbit because make an irreparable damage to you and all people around you.
