Last week the US Supreme Court approved gay marriage (https://edition.englishclub.com/listening-news/2015-06-30/), a great decision in order to build a better society.

It has not been an easy fight, but I feel proud because it is a proof that society is becoming more liberal, more equal.

Let people marry who they want, it´s not our bussiness, how could gay marriage harm the society??

I´d like to know your opinion. Have a nice day.

Let the dogs bark Sancho, it´s a sign that we are advancing...

  • Hey guys, have you seen that now this blog is listed in the 'Most Popular Blog Posts' in EC? Congratulations!

Now, it's fair to thank all these muslim people who wrote so much here and made so popular a blog about LGBT rights!

  • Hey mates! There's no need for digging in.
For me (and I think for the blog owner) it's just a matter of tolerance. We made clear our points so let's stop messing here, since I guess this was not the objective of this blog and surely no one wants to lose any friend. So I suggest someone to open a new discussion if you (or we) are really interesting on it.
'Keep calm and love on!' :D
  • Know Jaffery I am just a follower.  And you know I am not permitted about arguing without having a complete knowledge. That is why I do not discuss, in detail because I am not authority.  But it is my obligatory duty to let the people know what is considered AS SIN, and turning a SIN in an acceptable act in society is not permitted.

When I said unprejudiced I mean person to person.  I did not want that any hard feeling is made in my friends like you.  I do not want to lose the friendship by argument.  That is why I said so.  With your point of view, I was prejudiced but from my point of view I was unprejudiced.

Besides just for the discussion sake I want to clarify that the members have mixed up two aspects in one.

Gay (which in our society are the man adopted a life as woman voluntarily or by some natural problem,  they are considered with sympathy)

The point of discussion is same-sex marriage.  (This is between normal people man and women).

We should discuss these two points separately.  But I observed that the two points mixed up.

Gay, as I mentioned, is a different aspect.

and Same Sex marriage is another aspect.

The misunderstanding is created because of mixing these two points.

When Commented whatsoever was only same-sex marriage or same-sex relationship.

My society is not safe from this, but it is not like marrying the same sex.  It has different shape like a child (male) abuse or boy abuse and it is considered very bad.

I tell you two examples.  Once a big hoodlum of an area abused his boy servant.  The boy killed him with a dagger when got the chance.  Because he could not tolerate this humiliation.

Another example.  Some policemen abused a boy, he came to the house with gasoline bottle, shut himself in the bathroom and burned himself.  He could not bear the humiliation done with him.

In both the cases, culprits were punished. One way or the other.

So you tell me how can it be possible to just with the vote of the majority this crime, injustice, inhuman act and above all SIN be considered permissible.  If it is going on in a society, the impact will come another society and then another society.  How will the human race survive?

You know, I have already commented,  the first AID patient was Rock Hudson the famous Hollywood Star of 60 and 70, why because he was homosexual.  I can discuss the different diseases which may cause because of this inhuman act of our fellow being, but the comment will lengthen even more.

I apologize for taking your time.  My request is that please take all the argument as a healthy discussion and do not turn against each other.

  • Sorry, for us Muslims, what Allah says, it is absolutely  truth and nothing but the truth.  If we believe otherwise, we will not be Muslims.  And there is none on earth, who claims to be wiser than the one who has created the wisdom.  Yes when there is clearly mentioned what is SIN and what is not, there no option to think for ourselves.  And who is there who claims to know more than the OMNISCIENT.

My above comment is unprejudiced and have no reference to anyone else.

  • Hello Evangelina, thanks for your comment... I have a doubt, have you read all comments?? To me, it was a hard task, in the end I felt a little tired, because I tried to answer all comments and some of them weren´t nice... jajajajaja.

When I started this blog, I counldn´t imagine how people would react to homosexuality, I only wanted to say that all persons are equal before the law, I consider this a great to step in order to build a better world. I didn´t pretend to impose my beliefs, it has to do with human rights.

    Have a nice day Eva...

PD: I´d like to read a blog about Epicurus, just take into account...

  • Hello Estanis, thanks for your reply, good to see you again.

I agree with you, there are some points which I disagree but it´s good to see that human rights are becoming recognized in many countries as universal values.

Have a nice day my friend...

  • The Advert Evangelina refers made me recall a video I was sent some months ago.
Surely it won't soften narrow minding people but maybe make them realise there's another world out there.

  • Hi Gerardo, sorry for my late reply.

I agree with you. How can a lesbian or gay marriage hurt the society? Well, there're some points they claim which I disagree but I'm glad they have same rights now and I don't feel ashamed at all that my country was one of the first in legalise same sex marriage.

    Congrats US :)
  • There is no need of all these arguments.  HOMOSEXUALITY IS THE HEINOUS SIN and sin can not be altered IT HEINOUSNESS on discussion, or on the voting of a BRAINLESS MAJORITY who try to CHALLENGE GOD.

  • Here is the translation some verses  from the Quraan on this topic (it is about the nation of the prophet LUT (pbuh) who became homosexual:  These verses are from Chapter Al-Namal.  Similar warning is found in number of other chapters of Quraan:

[54-58] And We sent Lot.67 Remember the time when he said to his people, "Do you commit indecency while you see it?68 Do you leave women and seek men for the gratification of your sexual desire? The fact is that you are a people steeped in ignorance."69 But the only reply his people gave was to say, "Expel the family of Lot from your habitation: they pose to be very pious." At last We saved him and his family except his wife about whom We had decreed that she would linger behind,70 and rained on then a rain, an extremely evil rain for the people who had been warned.
