Childhood Days

Childhood Days
I woke up and I realized it was almost dusk, I had slept through the day because I was weary. I was weary not because my body was tired, it was my heart, my being that was tired. In the semi-darkness of the room I found myself so utterly alone. I hung my head between my legs, feeling the futility of my life, my youth half gone with nothing to be proud of. And without cause I remembered a day in my childhood. I was at the beach, my parents, my brothers and sisters were with me. We were playing in the sand, I felt the sun warm on my face, the wind against my back and the symphony of the seagulls in their early morning search for food. It was a perfect moment. There was it seemed nothing else that I could get out of that moment. Every piece, every single bit of life was there, everything that was necessary to give it all of life was there, we loved each other, my parents loved each other, we loved the world! I found it so consoling that I was able to surprise myself in such a state of joy. It was just a moment ago that I had felt like nothing and now suddenly…everything!! There are many moments in my adult life that has given me happiness but whenever I feel I really need a lift, I look back on my childhood days because there I find the moments worth finding.

Thanks for sharing. You made me recall great moments too.
  • Really nice blog.. Childhood is the most beautiful of all life seasons. Where no tension, no problem, we found happiness in very little things like chocolates, toffee, toys.. Love is found everywhere, no haters, everyone was our friend. Where no judgment, everyone looked sincere, no negative thoughts; just positive thought.Happiness was everywhere.

    Thanks...:)
  • I remember the time passed,

    the fragrence of flowers,

    the singing of birds,

    the playing with friends,

    the faces with shying smile,

    An extract from my blog:

In this silent reverie, a face furled out slightly before my eyes. A sweet smiling face, full of love and tenderness, seeping some memories from my veins, let me feel very happy, I swept into my bed and closed my eyes contented.
