Al- Haj( The Pilgrimage )

“Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful” So’ rat Ibrahim(37)This is the Prophet’s Ibrahim prayer which was responded by Allah ,when he left his wife Hajir and his baby boy Ismae’l in the uncultivated valley of Mecca, asking Allah to make peoples’ hearts incline towards it.Each year in such time people all over the world gather from different nationalities, races and languages in Mecca without any privilege one on other, whether he/she was rich or poor, kings or commons , to do the Pilgrimage or Hajj as called by Muslims. Worshipping only ONE LORD/GOD ,repeating the same prayer” Labayka Allahoma Labayak, La shareka laka labayk( We have responded to your call .O ! God we worship only you, there is no God only you),leaving everything behind: family, business and materialistic issues in person’s life.Pilgrimage or Hajj happens once in a year which all Muslims eager for.It is the last pillar of Islam’s Pillars, which is asked to be done only once in a life time. Maybe you will ask why? The answer is as follows: Its not an easy kind of worship because it needs a lot of efforts while doing Haj’s pillars:Tawwaf( revolving around Ka’ba), throwing pebbles in Muzdaliffha for instance. Besides travelling and the enormous crowd over there. When Haj ends, the pilgrimager comes out from this worship as a new born human without any sins unless he goes back again for committing sins.Eventually, Lords says in the Holy Quran about Haj:{Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah - blessed and guidance for the worlds. In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allaah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allaah is free from need of the worlds.} [Quran 3:96-97]
