How truthful are you?
I am always telling the truth but there's a limit of that which I can't tell you where I live nor what is my mobile no. are... lol..

I have met good friends here on MyEC, even though they are no longer active. I still keep in touch with them via another chat application.
Knowing you guys is great and good. I am glad to meet you here on MyEC and weird way how we become friends.

Am I truthful?
Hmm... depends to whom I'm talking, and how much I know about that person. I don't think being truthful is always a good thing. Online or offline makes also a big difference. I watch people for some time, before I decide how much information they get from me. Offline it's much easier for sure... we all know that.
If I go out, and some unknown guy starts talking to me, and then asks me for my name and phone number... he definitely gets a wrong name, plus the number of the nearest mental institution. I wouldn't do that with someone I know for some time. He/she gets my real first name, but I will say: sorry, I don't know you well, but I can give you an e-mail address.
If I know someone is a gossip, he/she will hear fake stories about my life. That is the best way to get rid of the people who spend their lives talking about other people, AND those people who listen to gossip. :-))
If some is talking nonsense, he/she gets to hear a lot of nonsense from me too. :))
If someone proves themself over time to be trustworthy, I will open up to this person. I don't make up stories, or fake a personality to impress or dupe other people. I don't pretend to be better than I am. I won't tell people the bad things I did in life. Like when I was a child and stealing stuff from shops... XD Oh, silly me, I think I just did. :-DD

That's the history on EC, people come, write, disccuss, chat... and vanish. Me myself am a shadow here now but also glad to keep contact with very few but very good people I met. It's not difficult to notice truthful persons.
Oh that's the kind of music I must play sometimes at full blast when alone at home for adrenaline rush. Shhh...

I have a principal of my own , which I try to apply most of the time . If I can't say the truth . I won't ever tell a lie . Because , exposing the truth of something might harm us or cause problems . For example , I can say that I am not young but I don't give my age exactly . I say that I am from the south , which , is a truth but I don't mention the name of my city . There are many things that we can't tell even to our closest friends . If someone ask me about my husband . I would say thanks God in arabic . Which bears 2 meanings in arabic . I am in good or might be in a bad relation . Even though I must thank Allah for everything in my life . But I don't like to act or pretend that I am living a perfect life . Thanks for sharing your thoughts about " the truth " it provoked my ideas a lot .
your words, make me think about it once again... That's true.. we only telling half-truth everything about our lives.. i guess is either about 50-50 or 30-70
