"He (Jesus) is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world." - 1 John2:2

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. for God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John3:16-17
