Now I face a problem that is how to write a "beautiful" business letter.
Normally, I use the vocabularies that I know and understand to write my business email. I avoid to use the same word frequently. Such as I will use "occur" to replace "happen", "arrange payment" to replace "remittance".
However, I do not think I learn vocabularies enough, and I write my business letters in simple sentences and easy-understand words. Recently, I am wondering how the customers is thinking about the business letters made by these kind of simple sentences??
I use the simple word and short mail letters, do the customers think my English is not good enough?
Because my another co-work, she likes to use some "beautiful" words to build her email letters which are longer than mine.
Should I do this, too?
I agree I can learn more vocabularies, however I only use simple words to write my business letters.
But sometimes, if the email text is very loooooong, I will choose to skip it. I do not like to read a loooong business letter.
Can anyone advise me that what a good business letter is?
full of beautiful words and sentence?
or just simple and easy to understand?
