since 1997, the world's premier FREE website for learners + teachers of English

LEVEL: Elementary

This game is from the British Council Learn English website.  This is another fun game that is really great for children but also good for elementary language learners.  I have played it with my elementary adult students and they found it quite addictive!

The goal of the game is to help you practice numbers in context, by paying for items in a toy shop.To play, you have to help a young boy who wants to buy a toy by paying for the item when the cashier tells you how much the toy costs. Then you drag the right money into the till and click to say that you're finished.

When you get the amount right the cashier tells you that it's right and the boy says yippee!!
