Everyday, I saw that "old cricket man" always crowded with boys and girls. most of them just looking and talking about… Continue

In case I die with dirty feet
I pray that in that moment fleet
God grant at least before I part
Sufficient time to cleanse my heart.

The Chapel

A short story by Josef Essberger

She was walking lazily, for the fierce April sun was directly overhead. Her umbrella blocked its rays but nothing blocked the heat - the sort of raw, wild heat that crushes you with its energy. A few buffalo were tethered under coconuts, browsing the parched verges. Occasionally a car went past, leaving its treads in the melting pitch like the wake of a ship at sea. Otherwise it was quiet, and she saw no-one.

In her long white… Continue

I have A Dream

I Have A Dream is from Voulez-Vous album - 1978.

It used all ABBA posters for the slide show in no particular order.

Lyrics:

I have a dream, a song to sing

To help me cope with anything

If you see the wonder of a fairy tale

You can take the future even if you fail

I believe in angels

Something good in everything I see

I believe in angels

When I know the time is right for me

I'll cross the stream -… Continue

i!i! HOW TO MAKE GOOD FRIENDS i!i!

I never really had a lot of friends in my life. The number always maintained the range 2-3. I have to concede it’s my entire fault though. Because I never communicate with people much beyond formal needs. I just expect people to come up and talk to me rather than me approaching them and start a conversation. I know it sounds ridiculous but trust me this has always been the case. It’s probably because I feel I don’t have that enough friendly… Continue

The Effects of Being a Foreign Student

Usually becoming a foreign student in order to study in another city can change your life in many aspects. Living in a city far away from home can bring many consequences and effects which almost always change a student’s form of life. When I became a foreign student, many things changed or had to change. You do not live with your family, so usually you have to learn how to live in harmony with others, how to do things by yourself, how to move to other places, etc. Being a foreign makes you… Continue

All sensible people through out the world have a deeper respect for King Alfred the great. He had faith in education. In educating. His statue shows a scroll in one hand in another hand there is an axe. The woodcutter's have. A strange combination. An axe and a scroll. He did many wonderful things. Built churches. Built schools. Amidst the ferocious struggle with the Danes. How could he find time for all the things he had achieved?

A lovely song:Over the Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high

There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue

And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true

Someday I'll wish upon a star

And wake up where the clouds are far behind me

Where troubles melt like lemon drops

Away above the chimney tops

That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds… Continue
